One day when I was outside painting my garden wall, I got a visit from the Mayor–to-be. He was about to become Mayor in the soon to be happening Civic Sunday or The Lord Mayor’s Parade. He wished for a ceremony to go off with a bang and who better to do this job than Ting Tang!

Ting Tang led all the dignitaries through the quiet streets of Dalton from the Town Hall to the church.

The rhythms performed by Ting Tang brought people out of their houses to line the streets (investigating what the noise was about). 

We all felt very proud to support our wonderful mayor and make his day special.
