Recruitment

The first part of the month was spent travelling round schools advertising that we were setting up a new Ting Tang Beginners group.  We visited Walney, Ulverston Victoria and St Bernard’s Schools.

The latter part of the month was welcoming new participants and beginning rehearsals with Ting Tang and Boom Dang.

We also began a new band working with children in care.

So in total four bands are running!

Boom Dang The Performance Band returned to Bentham, after a truly successful parade last year, the band were re-booked by popular demand to bring music to the annual Lantern Parade and Bonfire.

Our Trainees graduated to become Apprentices, we took on a new Trainee, we still have our Music Leader and 2 Leaders.
